\nHet Veerse Gat has an extensive fleet. Because of this we have a suitable boat type for all ages.<\/p>\n

Optimist<\/b>
\n\"\"The Optimist is a wonderful youth boat for kids up to 12 years old. It is a small, one-man dinghy. Usually, the instructor teaches from a motor boat and is always immediately there if assistance is needed. In short: The Optimist is a nice and safe boat which will defintely stimulate the passion for sailing. During the course all participants must wear a wetsuit. You can either bring or borrow one. <\/p>\n

Valk<\/b>
\n\"\"The Valk is an open sailboat with a fixed keel. This sailboat has a length of approximately 6,5 meters and a sail surface of more than 17 m2. Its spacious tub, good sailing features and stability make the Valk the perfect training boat for all ages. In the Valk you sail with max. 4 participants and 1 instructor. For rental purposes the Valk is suitable for max. 4 adults. <\/p>\n

Laser Pico<\/strong>
\n\"\"In the Laser Pico you can sail alone or together. With a self-draining tub, a high boom and stabile hull shape this is the perfect training boat for (youth) sailors. It is a suitable boat for both starting and advanced sailors, also suitable for adults. The mainsail has a surface of 5,14 m2 and can be reefed. The foresail has a surface of 1,09 m2 if when sailing with 2 people. During the course all participants must wear a wetsuit. You can either bring or borrow one. <\/p>\n

Laser<\/b>
\n\"Laser\"<\/a>For youth sailors with sailing experience (at least CWO I) in the age from 14 up to 18 with a minimum weight of 50 kg, the Laser is a perfect sailboat for spectacular sailing. This one-man dinghy is an Olympic class, has a sail surface of approx. 4,7 m2 or 5,7 m2 and is about 4m long. For Laser sailing especially weight division (where do I sit in the boat?) and sailing positions are important parts, just like getting the boat straight if capsizes. The fact that you get really wet in a Laser makes the fun even bigger. During the course all participants must wear a wetsuit.
