\nIf you are looking for a special location to spend the night, you should definitely visit Het Veerse Gat. You can completely unwind in our hiker\u2019s cabins. The island Walcheren offers beautiful cycling- and walking routes. A walk through the Veerse Bos starts basically starts from your own hiker\u2019s cabin. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Hiker\u2019s cabin<\/strong>
\nThe hiker\u2019s cabin is a spacious hexagonal accommodation of approx. 32m2. The cabins are located directly at the Veerse Meer and offer a fantastic view of the water. The hiker\u2019s cabin has a spacious living area and 2 separate sleeping areas, each with bunk beds (2 x 90\u00d7200). The cabin also has a sofa bed.
\nIn the kitchen you will find a small refrigerator, a gas set and a basic set of crockery, pans and a singing teakettle, no electric kettle. In the adjacent toilet building you will find showers, toilets and a water tap. Het Veerse Gat has 1 single cabin and 1 double cabin (= 2 connected single cabins).<\/p>\n

\nHiker\u2019s cabin \u2018de Luxe\u2019 is a camping bungalow of approx. 50 m2. These cabins are also located directly at the water. The hiker\u2019s cabin \u2018de Luxe\u2019 has a living area with kitchen (refrigerator, cooker and basic kitchen inventory), two bedrooms with 2 single beds (80×200)\u00a0 each and a shower\/toilet area. The cabin also has a sofa bed and television. Hiker\u2019s cabin \u2018de Luxe\u2019 is exclusively rent for at least 2 nights (January – July, September – December) and for 1 week (July, August). Het Veerse Gat has 3 hikers cabins ‘de luxe’.\"\"<\/p>\n

Near the cabins you will find a small slipway where boats can be launched (manually). Het Veerse Gat has a couple of canoes that may be used by guests (free of charge). In addition it is possible to rent Optimists, Valken and Laser Pico\u2019s, provided you have sufficient sailing experience. We also rent SUP-boards to our guests.<\/p>\n

Rates 2026:<\/strong>
\nhiker’s cabin 4pers:<\/strong>
\nRates for the hiker’s cabin in the low season ( 1 April to 28 june and 31 August to 31 October) Subject to weather conditions.
\n\u20ac 97,50 per night, with a minimum of 2 nights
\n\u20ac 115,- per night in high season (June 29th tot August 30th), with a minimum of 2 nights.<\/p>\n

Hiker’s cabin high season: \u20ac 743,75 per week in during high season.<\/p>\n

Hiker’s cabin ‘de luxe’<\/strong>
\nHiker’s cabin ‘de luxe’ Low season (Januari 1 to Juni 28 th and August 31th tot December 31th)
\n\u20ac 160,- per night, with a minimum of 2 nights.<\/p>\n

Hiker’s cabin ‘de luxe’ high season: \u20ac 1172,50 rental only possible from Saturday to Saturday (June 29th until August 30th)<\/p>\n

Dogs are not allowed. Open (camp) fires on the field or near the huts and in the bbq are not allowed.<\/p>\n
